Yesterday, in the context of the European Mission Soil Week in Aarhus, we have had the pleasure of welcoming participants to our SmartField supersite near Aarhus.
It was a fantastic opportunity to show our field activities to support the reduction of nitrous oxide emissions and to discuss innovative solutions for reducing the climate footprint and improving soil health.
With a large part of European soils currently in poor condition, it becomes clear that innovation, knowledge sharing and collaborative action are urgently needed.
The European Mission Soil Week, dedicated to the Horizon Europe Mission 'A Soil Deal for Europe' – Mission Soil, plays a crucial role in raising awareness and inspiring the protection and restoration of our soils.
This year's event is organised by the Danish Ministry of Green Transition, Aarhus University and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development, under the auspices of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
