Last week, we were happy to welcome 40 international researchers from the EU Project MARVIC to Supersite B in SmartField.
The approach in MARVIC is through an MRV system (monitoring, reporting and verification) to improve methodologies to measure and report changes in soil carbon and greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture.
In SmartField, we are preparing a basis for an MRV-system focusing on N₂O emissions from agricultural soils. We therefore look forward to learning from MARVIC and utilise synergies between the initiatives.
The visit was a great chance for us to share ideas and learn from each other.
