Recently, a group from the SmartField team visited Sassari, Italy, to present our work at the XXIII Nitrogen Workshop, listen to interesting talks and connect with other researchers within the field of nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) in agriculture.
Scientific Director Klaus Butterbach-Bahl presented SmartField as the first keynote speaker, and PI of the Science Policy Practice Interface Jørgen E. Olesen presented the SmartField approach at the conference.
This laid the foundation for inspiring dialogues, knowledge-sharing and discussions of topics within innovative solutions for nitrogen management and sustainable agriculture with researchers from across different borders and disciplines.
